Strategies of Developmental and Adolescent Health

WHO THE PROGRAMME IS FOR

The Programme admits, provided they meet the necessary requirements for successful course participation, graduates of universities or technological educational institutes (TEIs) in related fields (Departments of Health Sciences, Psychology, as well as other Humanities, Education, Social, Economic, and Political Sciences) from Greece, or graduates of equivalent departments of recognized higher education institutions abroad, in accordance with Article 4, paragraph 1 of Law 3685/2008.

The Master’s Programme “Developmental and Adolescent Health Strategies” will admit thirty-five (35) students per academic year and is planned to engage approximately seventy (70) instructors in total, with at least 60% from the School of Medicine, NKUA, and 40% from universities and research centres in Greece and abroad. This corresponds to a ratio of one (1) instructor per student.

It should be noted that the maximum number of postgraduate students in the Master’s Programmes of the School of Medicine is approximately 3,190 per year, in relation to roughly 2,157 undergraduate students per year and 572 faculty members (ΔΕΠ) of the School of Medicine, NKUA. The figures above are approximate and correspond to the data at the time the Regulations were drafted. In addition to the regular intake, one (1) member of the categories E.E.P., E.DI.P., or E.T.E.P. (according to paragraph 8, article 34 of Law 4485/2017) may be admitted per year, provided that their work at the institution is relevant to the Programme’s subject area.

IKY scholars and foreign scholars funded by the Greek state, in the same or a related field to that of the Master’s Programme, are admitted without entrance examinations.
